# Can I edit a contact after adding it?

Yes, you can edit a contact’s name, phone number, or group assignment after adding it. Use the "Edit" option in the Action column to make changes.

To edit a contact:

1. Navigate to the Contacts section.
2. In the Contacts table, locate the contact you want to edit.
3. Click the "Edit" button in the **Action** column for that contact.
4. A modal window will open, allowing you to update the **Contact Name**, **Mobile Number**, or **Group Assignment**.
5. Click “Save Changes” to update the contact.
