# How do I send RCS messages using file upload?

File upload is the easiest way to send to large lists.

## File Mobile: same message to every number

1. Go to **Send RCS** and open the **File Mobile** tab.
2. Enter a **Campaign Identifier**, then select the **Bot** and **TTL**.
3. Upload your file of mobile numbers. You can download a sample file in the required layout from the upload section.
4. Select the template, fill in the variables, then send now or schedule.

## Custom Upload: personalised values per recipient

1. Open the **Custom Upload** tab and enter the Campaign Identifier, Bot and TTL.
2. Upload your file. Each row holds a mobile number plus the values for that recipient (name, amount, order ID and so on).
3. Choose which column contains the **recipient number**.
4. Select the template. For each variable, pick the column it should take its value from.
5. Check the preview, then send or schedule.

## Supported file formats

CSV, XLS, XLSX and TXT. Sample files for each format are available from the **sample downloads** link on the upload screen.

Uploaded files and their processing status are listed under **RCS Uploaded Files**, where you can also download the processing report.
