# How do I use the Send WhatsApp node?

Add a **Send WhatsApp** node and connect it from the previous step. In **Configure**, choose **Message Type**: **Auto Response** (conversation template) or **Template** (Meta template). Select the template and, if needed, the **Auto response template for reply**. Fill recipient (e.g. `{{sender}}` or a variable) and template variables (per placeholder {{1}}, {{2}}, etc. or via variable picker). If the template has media, select it. The node has **Delivered**, **Failed**, and optionally **Continue** ports—connect them to the next steps (e.g. success message, retry, or error handling).
