# How does “Send SMS on new row” work?

When a new row is added, the row’s mobile number is messaged using your Sender ID and message template. Placeholders such as `{Name}` or `{Company}` are replaced with that row’s values. You can start from a saved DLT template, then still edit the text and insert column placeholders.
