# How long does indexing take?

For a website crawl (single site, shallow depth): small sites (1-5 pages) take about 30 seconds to 2 minutes, medium sites (10-30 pages) take about 2-8 minutes, and large sites (up to 50 pages) take about 5-15 minutes. PDF and text files are usually faster, often under 2 minutes.
