# Understanding the Dashboard

The **SMSGatewayCenter mobile app** dashboard is your central hub for all SMS operations. This guide will help you understand the dashboard layout, navigation, and all available features so you can use the app efficiently.

## Dashboard Overview

After logging in, you'll see the main dashboard with:

- **Account Information**: Balance, validity, profile
- **Quick Actions**: Fast access to common features
- **Navigation Menu**: Access to all app features
- **Recent Activity**: Quick view of recent SMS sends

## Main Dashboard Elements

### 1. Header/Top Bar

**Location**: Top of the screen

**Contains**:

- **Account Balance**: Current credits or currency
- **Account Validity**: Expiry date
- **Profile Icon**: Access to profile and settings
- **Menu Icon**: Main navigation menu (hamburger menu)

**Actions**:

- Tap balance to view detailed account info
- Tap profile icon for settings and logout
- Tap menu icon to access all features

### 2. Quick Actions Section

**Location**: Usually below header or on main screen

**Common Quick Actions**:

- **Send Quick SMS**: Fast access to send individual SMS
- **Send Bulk SMS**: Access to bulk messaging

## Navigating the Dashboard

### Accessing Features

**Method 1: Quick Actions**

1. Look for quick action buttons on dashboard
2. Tap the desired action
3. Feature screen opens

**Method 2: Navigation Menu**

1. Tap menu icon (☰)
2. Select desired feature from menu
3. Feature screen opens

**Method 3: Bottom Tabs** (if available)

#### iOS Navigation

**Features**:

- Swipe gestures for navigation
- Back button in top-left

- Pull down: Refresh content

#### Android Navigation

**Features**:

- Hamburger menu (☰) for navigation

## Understanding Account Information

### Balance Display

**What You See**:

- Current balance (credits or currency)
- Account validity/expiry date
- Sometimes: SMS rate or cost per SMS

**Actions**:

- Tap balance to view detailed information
- Pull down to refresh balance
- Balance updates automatically after sending SMS

### Account Status Indicators

**Active Account**:

- ✅ Green indicator or "Active" status
- Can send SMS normally
- Balance and validity shown

**Low Balance Warning**:

- ⚠️ Yellow/orange indicator
- Balance below threshold
- Reminder to recharge

**Expired Account**:

- ❌ Red indicator or "Expired" status
- Cannot send SMS
- Need to renew account

## Quick Access Features

### Send SMS Quickly

**From Dashboard**:

1. Tap "Send SMS" or "Quick SMS" button
2. Or tap "Quick SMS" from menu
3. Compose and send message

**Shortcut** (if available):

- Long-press app icon
- Select "Send SMS" from quick actions
- Directly opens SMS compose screen

### Check Reports Quickly

**From Dashboard**:

## Troubleshooting Dashboard Issues

### Dashboard Not Loading

**Problem**: Dashboard doesn't appear or shows blank screen.

**Solutions**:

1. **Check Internet Connection**:
   - Ensure Wi-Fi or mobile data is enabled
   - Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data
2. **Refresh Dashboard**:
   - Pull down to refresh
   - Or tap refresh icon if available
3. **Restart App**:

### Balance Not Showing

   - Check if account has expired
3. **View Balance Manually**:

### Menu Not Opening
