# What does DLT_REJECTED mean?

Your message was **rejected by DLT** (India’s Distributed Ledger Technology for commercial SMS) - for example the template, TM ID, PE ID, or Sender ID does not match what is registered on DLT for this content or sender. The message was not sent.

**What you can do:** Ensure your template, TM ID, PE ID, and Sender ID are registered on DLT and match exactly what you are sending. Fix any mismatch and resend.
