# What does INVALID_GROUP (Invalid Group Name) mean?

The **group name or group reference you used is invalid** - for example the group does not exist, was deleted, or the name is wrong. The message was not sent to that group.

**What you can do:** Check the group name or ID you used. Ensure the group exists and you have permission to send to it.
