# What does NOTSENT mean?

**NOTSENT** means your message was **never sent to the operator**. It was rejected by the platform before it left—for example blocked number, spam filter, template mismatch, validation error, or (in India) NCPR/DND check before send. The message did not go to the vendor.

**Where you see it**

- In your **reports**, “Not sent” or “Rejected” counts usually include these messages.
- In your **Delivery Report**, you may see an error code or reason indicating the message was not sent.

**Why it matters**

- Not-sent messages are typically not charged.
- Understanding NOTSENT helps you fix your list or content (e.g. remove blocked numbers, avoid spam words, use the correct template, or check DND before sending).
