# What is an RCS Sandbox Account and how do I use it?

An **RCS Sandbox Account** lets you explore RCS before you register your own brand and bot. It uses a shared test bot and ready-made test templates, so you can see how sending, templates and delivery reports work on the platform.

## How to enable the sandbox

1. Open the **RCS** menu and go to the RCS setup page (**Add RCS**).
2. Click **Enable RCS Sandbox**.
3. When you see the confirmation, click **Read Documentation** or **Send RCS Now**.

While the sandbox is active, RCS pages show a banner saying you are operating within an RCS Sandbox Account.

## What you can do in the sandbox

- View the shared templates made available for testing, under **RCS Templates**.
- Send test RCS messages with the shared sandbox bot, from **Send RCS** or with the **Test** action on a template.
- Review delivery reports and summaries for your test sends.

If no sandbox templates appear, ask your account manager to make templates available on the sandbox bot.
