# What is “Create on Meta”?

**Create on Meta** sends your flow definition (Flow JSON) to Meta’s API for the first time. Meta creates the flow and returns a **Meta Flow ID**. After that, the **Meta Status** column shows **DRAFT**. You must then use **Publish on Meta** to submit it for approval so it becomes **PUBLISHED**.
