# What is RCS Capability Check and how do I use it?

**RCS Capability Check** tells you which mobile numbers on your list can receive RCS messages *before* you launch a campaign. This reduces wasted sends, helps you target better, and shows you where to plan another channel such as SMS or WhatsApp.

## How to run a check

1. Go to **RCS > RCS Capability Check History** and click **Upload File**.
2. Select the **Bot** to check against. Only bots eligible for your account are listed.
3. Either upload a **CSV or TXT** file with one number per line, **or** type up to **100 numbers** separated by commas or new lines (6 to 15 digits each). Use one method per submission, not both.
4. Optionally add a comment, then click **Upload & Submit**.
5. Note the **transaction ID** shown in the confirmation.

## Viewing results

The history page lists each request with its transaction ID, bot, file name, total numbers, status, timestamp and comments. You can filter, export, and download the result files.

## Not available?

- If you see "Feature Not Enabled", bulk capability check is not active on your account. Contact your sales representative to have it enabled.
- Capability check uploads are not available on RCS Sandbox Accounts.
