# What is the difference between Draft, Active, and Inactive status?

These are **internal** statuses you set in the builder (Status dropdown):

- **Draft**: Work in progress; not yet ready for use.
- **Active**: You consider the flow ready (e.g. for use in workflows).
- **Inactive**: Temporarily disabled.

They do **not** change Meta’s status (Not published / DRAFT / PUBLISHED). Only **Meta Status** on the Manage page indicates whether WhatsApp has approved and published the flow for sending.
