# What is the Workflow Builder?

The **Workflow Builder** is a visual tool inside SMSGatewayCenter’s **WhatsApp** module that lets you create automated message journeys using a drag-and-drop canvas. You add nodes (triggers, messages, collect input, conditions, actions), connect them with ports, and configure each step. Workflows run automatically when triggers fire (e.g. incoming message, schedule) or when you run a test.
