# Why can’t I see my template or bot when sending RCS?

- **"Select bot first":** templates load only after you pick a bot. Select the bot the template belongs to.
- **The bot is missing from the list:** only approved bots can be used for sending. Bots with **Internal approval pending** won't appear yet.
- **The template is missing:** only enabled templates for the selected bot are shown. Check the status under **RCS Templates**; Pending, Rejected, Paused or Disabled templates can't be used.
- **Sandbox account:** you can only use the shared sandbox bot and the templates made available for sandbox testing.
- **The template's type doesn't match the bot:** a template must match its bot's use case, for example an OTP template on an OTP bot.
