# Why do messages not send from a workflow?

Verify the template is **approved** and in the correct format. Check **recipient** (e.g. `{{sender}}` or variable) includes country code. Review API and execution logs for delivery errors. Ensure **Send WhatsApp** node has the correct template and variables (e.g. {{1}}, {{2}}) and that media is attached if the template requires it. Test with **Test Journey** or a manual test run first.
