Before you start, make sure you have at least one verified brand<\/strong> under My RCS Brands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to RCS > RCS Bots<\/strong> and click Create Bot<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Basic info:<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Region<\/strong>: India or Rest of World.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Bot Message Type<\/strong>: Promotional, OTP, Transactional or Multi-Use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Bot Billing Category<\/strong>: Conversational or Non-Conversational.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Bot Name<\/strong>: shown at the top of the message thread (maximum 18 characters).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Brand Name<\/strong>: pick the brand this bot belongs to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Image configuration:<\/strong> upload the Bot Logo<\/strong> (72\u00d772 px or 256\u00d7256 px) and the Banner Image<\/strong> (488\u00d7164 px or 656\u00d798 px). Larger images can be cropped with the built-in resize tool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Description and appearance:<\/strong> add a Short Description<\/strong> (up to 100 characters, shown in the bot’s details) and choose the bot’s Color<\/strong>. The colour needs a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 so text stays readable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Contact information<\/strong> (optional): add phone numbers, email IDs and websites, each with a label of up to 20 characters (for example “Support” or “Visit us”).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Legal and API:<\/strong> enter your Terms of Use URL<\/strong> and Privacy Policy URL<\/strong>, choose the RCS API<\/strong> (GSMA API or Google RBM API) and list the Languages Supported<\/strong> (for example English, Hindi).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • For bots in the India<\/strong> region, tick “I agree to launch the bot on all Indian carriers”<\/strong>. Your consent is required to proceed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Click Next<\/strong>, complete Carrier Selection<\/strong>, then click Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Use the live preview<\/strong> on the right (iPhone X, Pixel or Galaxy S8) to see how your bot’s profile, Info and Options screens will look to recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      After you submit, the bot shows Internal approval pending<\/strong> until it is approved. Bot registration involves carrier review, so allow some time before the bot can be used for sending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
