The <strong>PE-TM chain<\/strong> is how that trail is recorded on DLT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>PE (Principal Entity)<\/strong>: your business, registered on a DLT portal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>TM (Telemarketer)<\/strong>: each messaging provider your SMS passes through, such as SMS Gateway Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Chain<\/strong>: the ordered list of telemarketers, from you to the operator, that you declare on your DLT portal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why it matters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TRAI required operators to trace every commercial message from sender to recipient.
