When email verification is switched on, a visitor signing up on your white-label site must confirm their email address before the account is created. The verification email goes out through your<\/strong> SMTP settings, from your company name and address, because the signup page is on your domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the visitor does<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. They type their email address in the signup form and click Send email code<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The page shows “We sent a verification code to \u2026” and an expiry countdown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. They enter the code and click Verify email code<\/strong>. On success the page confirms the address is verified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. They complete the rest of the form and submit. If they skip verification, the form is rejected with Email is not verified!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Built-in protections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Retry delay:<\/strong> a new code can’t be requested until the retry time shown on screen has passed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Attempt limits:<\/strong> too many code requests or wrong entries from one address or IP are blocked with “Maximum attempts exceeded”.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Expiry:<\/strong> an unused code expires and the visitor has to request a new one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Duplicate check:<\/strong> if unique email addresses are enforced, an address already registered is refused at this step.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      What you need to do as a reseller<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. Configure SMTP Connectivity first.<\/strong> Without it no verification code is sent, so nobody can complete signup on your site. This is the part you control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Brand the email<\/strong> with the Email Settings<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Ask support to switch signup email verification on<\/strong> for your site. It is a platform-level setting, not a white-label section in your panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Don’t confuse it with Registration OTP Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        The Registration OTP Settings<\/strong> section in your White Label Manager is for the SMS<\/strong> code sent during signup: the message text with the {OTP}<\/code> placeholder, the sender name and the DLT template ID.
