You can also enable it from the Telegram discover page. The Telegram menus then appear in your sidebar. If you don&#8217;t see either option, ask support to enable it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Check your subscription<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your account uses subscription billing for Telegram, live sending is blocked until the subscription is active and unexpired. See <em>Why do I see &#8220;Subscription access required&#8221;?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Create your bot in Telegram<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the Telegram app, search for <strong>@BotFather<\/strong> and start a chat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send <strong>\/newbot<\/strong>, then follow the prompts for a display name and a unique username ending in <code>bot<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy the <strong>HTTP API token<\/strong> BotFather gives you. Treat it like a password.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4: Connect the bot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go to <strong>Telegram Bot Setup<\/strong> and enter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bot Name<\/strong> \u2014 the display name, for example My Store Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bot Handle<\/strong> \u2014 the username without the @, for example mystorebot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bot Token<\/strong> \u2014 pasted from BotFather<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click <strong>Connect Bot<\/strong>. The webhook is registered automatically on save; if you need to repeat it, use <strong>Register Webhook<\/strong> in the Account &amp; Webhook card.
