Key Guidelines for Users

1. Permitted Usage: Messages sent via SMSGatewayCenter must be consensual, meaning recipients have explicitly agreed to receive them. This includes promotional campaigns, transactional alerts, and OTP (One-Time Password) services, all of which must comply with TRAI’s DLT regulations.
2. Timing Restrictions: Promotional SMS and voice calls are permitted only between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the recipient’s respective time zone. Messages submitted outside this window may be queued for processing within the next working hour or cancel sending such messages.
3. Do Not Disturb (DND) Compliance: Promotional messages will not be delivered to numbers registered with the National Do Not Call (NDNC) registry, and users may be charged regardless of delivery status. Transactional messages are prioritized for delivery on both DND and non-DND numbers, subject to DLT compliance.
4. Sender ID and Template Registration: All sender IDs and message templates must be registered with the DLT platform and mapped to the PE-TM binding chain process to ensure transparency and adherence to regulatory standards. Refer to our DLT Registration Guide for more details.
5. Prohibited Content: The following are strictly forbidden:

• Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM) messages for prospecting or recruiting.
• Gambling, betting, or odds-making services, including online poker or casino promotions.
• Messages containing false, invalid, or misleading information.
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights or violates applicable laws.

Legitimate Number Lists

A number list is considered legitimate only if recipients have provided prior consent to receive communications from you. The following methods of collecting numbers are illegal and prohibited:

• Renting or purchasing lists from third parties.
• Extracting numbers from online directories, yellow pages, or using number-scraping software.
• Any unauthorized harvesting of contact information.

Enforcement and Consequences

SMSGatewayCenter reserves the right to monitor message content and reject or suspend any activity that violates this policy. In the event of a valid spam complaint:

• Immediate suspension of the offending user’s account.
• Immediate freezing of funds until the issue is resolved.
• Immediate refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to spam violations.
• Immediate to regulatory authorities, including TRAI, and possible legal action if required.

Users are required to register with the DLT platform before sending messages or voice communications. Failure to comply may result in monetary fines imposed by regulatory bodies, as per applicable laws.
