How Billing Works

Connect your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini. Every time your agent uses AI, SMSGatewayCenter logs the provider's actual cost for that call, adds your tier's margin, and deducts the total from your wallet, the same wallet you already use for SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS credits.
2. We log the real cost
Every AI call is billed at the provider's actual published rate for the tokens used, no inflated per-token pricing.
3. Margin added, wallet debited
Your tier's margin percentage is added on top and the total is deducted automatically from your account balance.

Frequently Asked Questions About AI Agent Builder Pricing
1. Do I need my own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini account?
Yes. You connect your own API key from your chosen provider. SMSGatewayCenter uses that key to run your agent's AI calls and bills you for the provider's actual cost plus your tier's margin.
2. What exactly is the margin calculated on?
The margin is a percentage added to the actual cost the AI provider charges for each call, based on tokens used. For example, at a 20% margin, a call that costs your provider ₹10 is billed to your wallet at ₹12.
3. Is there a limit on how much AI usage I can have?
No. There is no bundled conversation allowance to run out of. You can use as much AI as your wallet balance and provider account support, billed continuously as you go.
4. Does the monthly platform fee cover any AI usage?
No. The platform fee covers hosting your agents, knowledge base storage, Web Chat Widgets, and support. AI usage is billed separately and continuously at actual cost plus margin.
5. Are SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS messages sent by my AI agent billed differently?
No. Messages your agent sends over SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, or Telegram are billed at your existing per-message rates from your account wallet, the same as any other message you send through SMSGatewayCenter.
6. Can I negotiate a lower margin at high volume?
Yes. Enterprise accounts with high AI usage volume can negotiate a custom margin percentage with our sales team, below the standard published rate.
