What counts as a valid number
This tool strips spaces, dashes, brackets and a leading +91 or 91 country code, then checks that what's left is a 10-digit Indian mobile number starting with 6, 7, 8 or 9, the valid starting digits for Indian mobile numbers since number portability rules changed the allocation ranges.
