The WhatsApp Retarget Users feature allows you to reconnect with your audience by sending targeted messages to specific user groups. Follow these steps to set up and launch your retargeting campaign:
Steps to Create a Retargeting Campaign #
- Access the Retarget Users Form
- Log in to your SMSGatewayCenter account at https://unify.smsgateway.center/.
- Navigate to the Retarget Users section in your dashboard (typically found under WhatsApp Business API settings).
- Fill Out the Form
The Retarget Users form lets you define your campaign parameters:- Waba Number: Select the WhatsApp Business API number from the dropdown list to identify the sender.
- Agents: Choose the agents who will manage the campaign from the dropdown list; you can select multiple agents.
- Retarget Type: Select either “Active Session Users” (users currently active) or “Tags” (users with specific tags) from the dropdown list.
- Tags List (if “Tags” is selected): Pick relevant tags from the dropdown list to target specific user groups; multiple tags can be selected.
- Submit the Form
- Review your inputs for accuracy.
- Click the Submit button to initiate the retargeting campaign.
- If you need to make changes, click the Reset button at the bottom of the form to start over.
- Send WhatsApp Messages
- After submitting, download the generated file containing your campaign data.
- Go to the Compose section in your dashboard, upload the downloaded file, and launch your targeted retargeting campaign.
