After setting up your WhatsApp Default Response configurations, you’ll need to manage them regularly. This guide covers viewing, updating, and deleting default response configurations in your SMS Gateway Center account.
Accessing the Management Interface
- Log in to your SMS Gateway Center user panel
- Navigate to WhatsApp plugin
- Click on Default Response Configuration
- Select Manage from the breadcrumb menu or click the Manage button
- You’ll see a data table listing all your default response configurations
Viewing Default Response Configurations
The management interface displays all your configurations in a searchable, sortable data table with the following columns:
Table Columns:
- ID: Unique identifier for the configuration
- WABA Number: The WhatsApp Business Account number
- Default Message Type: Type of message (Text, Image, Button, List, etc.)
- Default Message: Preview of the message content
- Action: Edit and Delete options
Features Available:
- Search: Use the search box to find specific configurations
- Sort: Click column headers to sort by ID, WABA Number, or Message Type
- Pagination: Navigate through multiple pages if you have many configurations
- Preview: Click on message preview to see full content in a modal
- Filter: Filter configurations by WABA number or message type
Viewing Configuration Details
- Locate the configuration you want to view
- Click on the message preview in the Default Message column
- A modal window will open showing:
- Full message content
- Message type details
- WABA number information
- Configuration metadata
Updating Default Response Configurations
Step 1: Access Edit Mode
- In the management table, locate the configuration you want to update
- Click the Edit button (pencil icon) in the Action column
- You’ll be redirected to the update page
Step 2: Modify Configuration
The update page is similar to the create page, with pre-filled values:
- WABA Number: Can be changed if needed (must belong to your account)
- Default Message Type: Can be changed to a different message type
- Message Content: Update text, media, buttons, or list items
- Default Message Webhook: Update or modify webhook URL
Step 3: Preview Changes
- Use the Preview Panel on the right side
- See real-time updates as you make changes
- Verify the message appears correctly
- Check mobile preview for responsive design
Step 4: Save Updates
- Review all changes carefully
- Click Save Changes button
- Wait for success confirmation
- You’ll be redirected back to the management page
- Cache is automatically refreshed after update
Important Notes for Updates:
- ⚠️ Changing WABA Number: Ensure the new WABA number belongs to your account
- ⚠️ Changing Message Type: All previous content will be cleared when changing types
- ⚠️ Webhook Updates: Old webhook will be replaced with new one
- ✅ Cache Refresh: System automatically refreshes cache after update
Deleting Default Response Configurations
Step 1: Initiate Deletion
- In the management table, locate the configuration to delete
- Click the Delete button (trash icon) in the Action column
- A confirmation dialog will appear
Step 2: Confirm Deletion
- Review the confirmation message
- Verify you’re deleting the correct configuration
- Click Confirm to proceed or Cancel to abort
- Warning: This action cannot be undone
Step 3: Verify Deletion
- After confirmation, the configuration is deleted
- Success message will be displayed
- The configuration disappears from the table
- Cache is automatically refreshed
Bulk Operations
While the current interface supports individual operations, you can:
- Multiple Configurations: Manage configurations for different WABA numbers
- Quick Access: Use search to quickly find specific configurations
- Export Data: Export configuration list for backup (if available)
