You can pause (disable) or resume (enable) any campaign without deleting it.
To Pause a Campaign:
- Go to Compose → Recurring SMS
- Find your campaign in the list
- Look at the Status column (shows “Enabled”)
- Click the “Disable” button in the Actions column
- Confirm when prompted
- Status changes to “Disabled”
What happens when paused:
- No messages will be sent
- Campaign settings are preserved
- You can resume anytime
To Resume a Campaign:
- Find the paused campaign (Status shows “Disabled”)
- Click the “Enable” button
- Confirm when prompted
- Status changes back to “Enabled”
- Campaign resumes from the next scheduled trigger date
Use Cases for Pausing:
- ✅ Seasonal businesses during off-season
- ✅ Temporary budget constraints
- ✅ Testing or reviewing campaign performance
- ✅ Holiday periods when you don’t want to send
- ✅ Updating contact groups before next execution
Important:
- Pausing does NOT delete any data
- Historical reports remain accessible
- Pausing is better than deleting if you plan to use the campaign later
