An RCS Bot (also called an RCS agent) is your verified sender identity on RCS. It is what recipients see at the top of the conversation: your bot name, logo, banner, colour and a short description, along with your contact details and links to your privacy policy and terms.
Each bot is:
- Linked to one of your brands.
- Registered for a region (India or Rest of World) and a message type (Promotional, OTP, Transactional or Multi-Use).
- Launched on the carriers you select.
You can register more than one bot, for example one for OTPs and another for promotions. Templates always belong to a specific bot, and only approved bots can be used on the Send RCS screen.
The bot list under RCS > RCS Bots shows each bot’s logo, name, status, linked brand, region, type and number of active templates.
