When to Update Blocked Numbers #
Update blocked numbers when you need to:
- Change Products: Add or remove products from blocking
- Fix Number: Correct an incorrectly entered number

Step-by-Step Update Process #
Step 1: Find the Blocked Number #
- Go to Blocked Numbers: Navigate to Blocked Numbers in your dashboard
- Search: Use the search box to find the number
- Enter full or partial phone number
- Search is case-insensitive
- Or Filter: Use filters to narrow down the list:
- Filter by product (SMS, WhatsApp, Voice)
- Filter by status (Active, Inactive)
- Filter by date range
- Locate Entry: Find the number in the list
Step 2: Open Edit Form #
- Find Edit Button: Look for the edit icon (pencil) or “Edit” link
- Usually in the “Action” column
- Next to delete/view options
- Click Edit: This opens the edit form with current values pre-filled
Step 3: Update Product Selection #
- Current Selection: See which products are currently checked
- Make Changes:
- Add Products: Check additional products to block
- Remove Products: Uncheck products to unblock

Step 4: Update Mobile Number (If Needed) #
- Find Number Field: Locate the mobile number input
- Current Number: See the currently blocked number
- Edit Number: Change if it was entered incorrectly
- Ensure it’s in international format (+country code)
- Remove spaces or special characters
Important: Only change the number if absolutely necessary. Consider deleting and re-adding instead.
Step 5: Update Status #
- Find Status Dropdown: Locate the status selection
- Current Status: See if it’s “Active” or “Inactive”
- Change Status:
- Enable: Change from “Inactive” to “Active” to start blocking
- Disable: Change from “Active” to “Inactive” to temporarily stop blocking
Use Cases:
- Enable: Reactivate blocking after temporary disable
- Disable: Temporarily allow messages (e.g., testing, special campaign)
Step 6: Review Changes #
- Double-Check:
- ✅ Product selections are correct

Scenario 1: Adding Products to Existing Block #
Situation: You blocked a number for SMS, now want to also block WhatsApp.
Steps:
- Find the number in your blocked list
- Click Edit
- Check “WhatsApp” in addition to “SMS”

Result: Number is now blocked for both SMS and WhatsApp.
Scenario 2: Removing Products from Block #
Situation: You blocked all products, but now want to allow Voice calls.
Steps:
- Find the number in your blocked list
