NOTSENT means your message was never sent to the operator. It was rejected by the platform before it left—for example blocked number, spam filter, template mismatch, validation error, or (in India) NCPR/DND check before send. The message did not go to the vendor.
Where you see it
- In your reports, “Not sent” or “Rejected” counts usually include these messages.
- In your Delivery Report, you may see an error code or reason indicating the message was not sent.
Why it matters
- Not-sent messages are typically not charged.
- Understanding NOTSENT helps you fix your list or content (e.g. remove blocked numbers, avoid spam words, use the correct template, or check DND before sending).
