Two-factor authentication means that after your password, you also enter a one-time code before you can log in. We strongly recommend it for every account.
Which methods are available #
Go to Profile > Security > 2FA. The OTP Methods Status panel shows which of these methods are enabled for your account:
- Email: a code is sent to your registered email address.
- SMS: a code is sent to your registered mobile number.
- WhatsApp: a code is sent by WhatsApp to your registered number.
- Google Authenticator: a code is generated in the authenticator app on your phone.
Only enabled methods can be used at login. To enable another method, contact our support team.
Setting up Google Authenticator #
- Install Google Authenticator on your Android or iOS phone.
- In Profile > Security > 2FA, scan the QR code with the app. Don’t refresh the page after scanning.
- The app starts showing a 6-digit code for your account. Click Next – Verify Setup.
- Enter the current 6-digit code and click Verify & Complete Setup.
When setup is complete, the page shows Google Authenticator: Active.
Changing phones #
Once Google Authenticator is set up, you can’t register a different device yourself. Contact our team to disable it first, then set it up again on the new phone. Keep access to your registered email and mobile number so we can verify the request.
