Check these in order. The first four are account-level and explain most failures.
1. Is Telegram active on your account? #
If the Telegram menus are missing, the product isn’t enabled. Add it from Add Products or ask support.
2. Is your subscription current? #
A Subscription access required screen means the subscription is off or expired. Your bot connection, templates and settings are kept, and sending resumes after renewal.
3. Is sending permitted? #
Panel sends need UI sending enabled on your account; API sends need API access enabled. These are set for you, so contact support if one is blocked.
4. Is the bot connected, with its webhook registered? #
Open Telegram Bot Setup and check the connection status. Without a registered webhook, you can send but customer replies never reach your Inbox. Use Register Webhook to re-register.
5. Has the customer started a chat with your bot? #
Telegram blocks messages to anyone who hasn’t. If a send to a chat ID or phone number fails, this is the usual reason.
Specific symptoms #
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| No contacts in the inbox recipient list | Widen the date range; confirm anyone messaged the bot in that period |
| Media didn’t arrive | The URL must be public https and open in a browser |
| Buttons missing or dead | Valid https URLs; labels within 64 characters |
| Replies not appearing | Webhook not registered, or the customer blocked the bot |
| Everything fails after working fine | Check whether the bot token was regenerated in BotFather; if so, reconnect with the new token |
Still stuck? Send support the chat ID, the time of the send and anything in the Delivery Report.
