A missed call service gives your business a phone number that customers ring and hang up. The call is never answered, so it costs the customer nothing, and every attempt is logged in your account as a record you can act on.
It is a one-tap alternative to filling in a form or sending an SMS, which is why it’s widely used in India for:
- Lead capture — “Give us a missed call on 9xxxxxxxxx for a callback”
- Opt-in and registration — collecting consent to be contacted
- Verification — confirming someone holds a particular number
- Attendance or confirmation — a ring to confirm delivery or presence
- Voting and feedback — one number per option
What you see in your account #
Two screens, both searchable and exportable:
- Miss Call Logs — one row per missed call, with the caller’s number, the missed call number dialled, the operator, the telecom circle and the timestamp.
- Miss Call Summary — totals per missed call number, so you can see volume per day without scrolling the log.
Using the data #
Export the logs and feed them into your CRM or calling list. Because each row carries the operator and circle, you also learn roughly where your responses come from, which is useful for judging where a campaign worked.
To start using the service, contact support: missed call numbers are allocated to your account rather than self-service.
